Chris Oyakhilome Biography of the President of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a TV host, pastor and writer. He is the President at Believers' LoveWorld Incorporated as well as known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first Oyakhilome's son, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He finished his primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. There he earned a BSc.


AAU also awarded him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He is also a recipient of an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

While still in school at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome got involved in ministry. At the time, the Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa's most popular Christian ministry through television. The program was cancelled in May 2004 by President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would no longer broadcast miraculous events on television.

Pastor Chris's Ministry has four arms including publishing ministry to heal the sick, teaching ministry for television, and a television ministry for TV. From these ministries, he created the healing school, the atmosphere for miracles and the Pastor Chris global prayer network.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to study and develop the potential for leadership of Africans. The foundation supports young Africans who demonstrate leadership and positively impact their generation. They do this through education and guiding young people and empowering them.

The foundation honors the young leaders with an award ceremony called The Next African Leaders’ Awards. Held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Billings Way (LCA), Oregun and Ikeja, the award ceremony is five years old. The president of BLW the Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, presents the award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for children is a religiously-based not-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was established to assist the poor and homeless, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .

This foundation helps these vulnerable children and communities through providing sustainable and participatory interventions like child development programs for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children's schools, as well as other programs.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare Foundation was established to improve the life expectancy and health status of communities in the local area. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome This foundation will help support national policies on trauma care by assisting their advocacy and health education as well as community-based programs.


The foundation has carried out more than a thousand first aid, safety, and emergency response training. They have taught thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers, as well as road transport workers.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global Christian organization that offers medical and aid to those who are internally displaced or have been forced to flee areas that are affected by man-made or natural disasters.

The network is comprised of paramedics, Christian health workers and students from all over the world. The volunteers offer relief aid, medical treatment and sustainable health solutions for those living in areas and communities which are experiencing crisis.

VMC also offers local health services as well as manpower education for health professionals. VMC outreach is open to everyone whose primary purpose is to improve health of people in need and to provide humanitarian assistance.

Bible For All Nation (BFAM)
Bible For All Mission (BFAM) is a Christian organisation, is committed to making, producing, and global distribution of Bibles for everyone. Chris Oyakhilome Family It is available in every language and format that they know about. Through this they are able to hear God's Word and experience his life-changing message.

BFAM was able to distribute hundreds and thousands of Rhapsody Bibles for free to hospitals, prisons as well as communities in many countries such as South Africa and Nigeria. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Thanks to a global network of bible donations and volunteers, the outreach was made possible.
